Message for the IAC 2015

The 66th IAF International Astronautical Congress shall take place in the beautiful unique city of Jerusalem, Israel.

In 1994, Israel very successfully hosted the 47th IAC Congress.   Ever since,  Israel’s space sector has significantly developed and expanded in diverse areas  of interest,  both in R&D,  industry, innovation, and in space sciences and exploration.

The IAC 2015 theme is:  Space-The Gateway for Mankind’s Future.

Planet Earth is a living entity, perpetually changing, affecting every living creature on its surface, and above.  The implementation and the adaptation of space technology for peaceful usage are essential, in order to ensure the survival of all living, growing, and flying life.

Space is non-sovereignty entity, belonging universally to all, without boarders or limits.  Global cooperation in peaceful space exploration can provide significant benefit to all contributing partners; in monetary efficiency; diplomatic and political stability; increase employment for the workforce; boost economic stability and status; new technological development and innovations, to name a few.

Space is the stuff that dreams are made of; it is the force which compels the fascination of present and future generations, directing young and not so young, to explore science in all its diverse facets, to learn and dream of reaching beyond planet earth.  Space science and exploration not only advances mankind in countless ways, it lifts and encourages the human spirit to reach beyond the stars.

Space science, exploration, and technology are the prime contributor for attaining successful eradication of poverty, disaster management, improving health care, environmental stability and development, communications, spider network,  maritime control and navigations, just to name a few.

Exceptional plenary sessions shall be planned, to include the participation of global space industries, space agencies leaders, and international scientist and academia experts on topics of present interest and important space subject matters.  Additionally, highlight lectures and late breaking news sessions shall take place, alongside associated and side events including the UN/IAF Workshop, and IAC mainstays such as the Global Networking Forum, and much more.

The IAC-2015 includes a very large encompassing space exhibition, where which global and domestic industries, academia and space science and exploration entities are going to present their newest achievement in space innovations, thus providing an excellent opportunity for business-to-business meetings and discussions, and for future joint venture and cooperation.

The Congress welcomes participants from all nations who wish to attend, or present a paper. Papers are solicited under many different symposia, and for various technical sessions as noted in this brochure.

IAC 2015 presents an unparalleled opportunity to impart your recent research and or new findings, as well as to accumulate new knowledge and information in your field of interest. Most important, the Congress week shall be abounding with ample and diverse opportunities to network and meet, well-known and reputable experts, including young professionals and leaders in different areas of space.

We hope that this Call for Papers shall encourage you to submit an abstract for presentation at the 66th International Astronautical Congress, in Jerusalem, Israel.
